I Love China Town Ice Cream Factory10 / 10

I've been going to this place forever and it is absolutely the best ice cream in the world. No matter what anybody says green tea is the best flavor. It is light and refreshing and has much better flavor than any other green tea ice cream around. Pumpkin, taro, and red bean are also good. There is something here for everybody. Even if you don't like the exotic flavors I just mentioned they also have standard flavors. The reason this place is so good is not becasue of their flavor options (which are so good) but because the quality of their ice cream is so high. the texture and flavor of everyone is great!
Horrible2 / 10

Horrible the worst ice cream I have ever tasted/looked at. I can't believe they are still in business. I had horrible service too. The people looked at me and made faces. It took twenty minutes for the waiter to come out and give us the menu.

This was a very good shop, when I asked the waiter to pick out any ice cream for me he picked out an outstanding one. I would love to go back again.

This is the only place I know of that has lychee, green tea, and almond cookie ice cream!!! All the flavors are great and I will definitely be coming back for more. I especially like the small family business atmosphere. The service, the portions, and the prices are all better than anywhere else.
THIS ICE CREAM IS OUT OF THIS WORLD10 / 10

I have been coming to this place for years. I think that guy who rated this place as "horrible" has the wrong place because he talks about waiters and seating and there are no waiters or seating at this place. It's a small family business in NYC which just doesnt exist anymore. The ice cream is GREAT!!! My favorite is the almond cookie ice cream!!!
Ice Cream and More6 / 10

Green tea and red bean ice cream have been tried by many who have eaten at sushi restaurants. This NY China Town establishment serves excellent versions of those flavors plus many others, like ginger and seasonal fruit flavors. There are usually at least a dozen choices.

With one group of friends, we might have a long debate about where to eat in China Town (so many choices and life is so short) but there was never any doubt that we would waddle over for our ice cream.

The ice cream is not quite as rich or sweet as Hagen Daz, but the flavors are full and piquant. If you like ginger, you will like ginger ice cream. If you don't like ginger, you won't like it because it is real ginger flavor. Go ahead and chose a fruit flavor you like and you will be happier than trying something exotic just because you are in China Town.

It is priced as a premium ice cream, just like at HDz and 31fl these days.

The shop also sells a variety of chilled and frozen bun and pastries (dessert and non-dessert) you can take home and steam and serve. The products are locally made and although many of them can be found at Chinese grocery stores in the region, the selection here always seems to be very fresh.

Mad Good Ice Cream8 / 10

I always go to C-Town Ice Cream Factory cuz it's the best in Chinatown. There's Hagen Daz but its really sweet and there are more unique flavors here. Some are weird, like taro ice cream, but surprisingly it's good. I had most of the flavors and banana is one of my favorites. I also like pumpkin pie, which most of my friends say they would get sick of, but not me. All the flavors are pretty good and I definitely recommend this place. Also the girl is kinda cute. *wink wink*
